Methods of work

IIIM has been working on finalising the Mechanism’s Internal Procedures and Methods of Work. The Internal Procedures, clarify the procedural guidelines for the Mechanism’s work, including the functions and responsibilities of its different sections. The Methods of Work are also designed to ensure a common understanding among relevant stakeholders of the methodology and procedures relating to the Mechanism’s central functions, namely evidence collection and analysis, and file preparation and sharing.
Consequently, once a draft is prepared, the Methods of Work will be shared with NGOs and other stakeholders, who can provide views and recommendations. Once a final version is adopted, the Methods of Work will be disseminated among various stakeholders, including civil society, in order to provide transparency as to the Mechanism’s approach to its core tasks.
